Claude Desktop is the standalone desktop application for Claude. It has native MCP support with OAuth, making it one of the easiest ways to use Gods’s AI tools. This also works in Claude on the web.

The fastest way to connect. No API key or config file needed — you sign in to Gods in your browser and approve access.

Open Connector Settings

In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors.

Add a Custom Connector

Click Add custom connector and paste the Gods server URL:

https://api.godads.io/functions/v1/mcp-server/mcp

Then click Add.

Connect and Approve

Click Connect next to the Gods connector. Your browser opens to sign in to Gods and approve access. Once approved, you’re connected.

Test It

Ask Claude:

What Google Ads accounts do I have connected to Gods?

If you see your accounts listed, you’re connected!

”Authentication Error”Link to this section

Your Gods connection expired or was revoked.

Fix: In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors, click Connect on the Gods connector, and approve access again.

”No accounts found”Link to this section

You haven’t connected ad accounts to Gods yet.

Fix: Go to Settings → Connections in Gods and connect your Google Ads or Meta Ads.

Claude doesn’t see GodsLink to this section

The Gods connector didn’t finish connecting.

Fix:

Open Settings → Connectors and confirm the Gods connector shows as connected
If not, click Connect and approve access again
Fully restart Claude Desktop (quit and reopen, not just close the window)
