- A paid ChatGPT plan (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Edu). Apps are not available on the free tier.
- A Gods account at Gods. Signing up is free.
You do not need an ad platform connected first. You can do that from inside ChatGPT in Step 3.
Step 1: Add the Gods appLink to this section
Open the listing
Go to the Gods app in the ChatGPT directory. You can also find it by searching Gods under Apps & Connectors in ChatGPT settings.
Click Connect
ChatGPT opens a Gods window to authorise the connection.
Step 2: Sign in and approveLink to this section
Sign in to Gods
Use your email and password, or Continue with Google. If you are already signed in, this step is skipped.
Approve access
The consent screen lists what the app can read and states plainly that access is read-only. Click Authorize.
You are returned to ChatGPT with Gods connected. There is no token to store or rotate.
To disconnect later, go to Settings → Apps & Connectors in ChatGPT and remove Gods. That revokes the authorisation immediately.
Step 3: Connect an ad platformLink to this section
If you have not connected Google Ads, Meta Ads, or TikTok Ads to Gods yet, do it without leaving ChatGPT:
Connect my Google Ads account to GodsGods returns a secure authorisation link. Click it, approve access on the ad platform, and you land back on Gods with the account connected. Repeat for each platform.

What's my Gods setup status?Step 4: Select accounts and syncLink to this section
Gods only syncs the ad accounts you choose.
List your accounts
Ask: Which ad accounts do I have available in Gods?
Select the ones you want
Ask: Select the Acme Retail and Acme Wholesale Google Ads accounts for syncing
Start the first sync
Ask: Start a Google Ads sync, then How's my sync going? to check progress.
Syncs are rate-limited to one per platform every five minutes, and Gods skips a sync when your data is already fresh. If it tells you the data is current, it is. No need to retry.
Step 5: Ask your first questionLink to this section

Use the directory app above unless you need to point ChatGPT at the raw endpoint (for a self-managed workspace, or to test against staging). In that case, enable Developer mode and add https://api.godads.io/functions/v1/mcp-server/mcp as a custom connector with OAuth authentication. See ChatGPT (manual connector).

Frequently asked questions
How do I add the Gods app to ChatGPT?
Open the Gods listing in the ChatGPT app directory, click Connect, sign in to your Gods account, and approve the read-only consent screen. Gods then appears in the tool menu of any chat.
How long does setup take?
About three minutes if you already have a Gods account with an ad platform connected. Adding a new ad platform adds a minute, and the first data sync usually finishes in a few minutes.
Do I need to paste a server URL or API key?
No. The directory listing handles the connection with OAuth. Server URLs and API keys are only used for the manual MCP connector path.
Can I connect Google Ads from inside ChatGPT?
Yes. Ask Gods to connect Google Ads, Meta Ads, or TikTok Ads and it returns a secure authorisation link. Click it, approve access on the platform, and you land back on Gods with the account connected.
